Three Generations Largemouth Bass Fishing Belle Glade

Hey everybody this is Capt Dave Lauer calling in a fishing report for Lake Okeechobee.

Here is your Three Generations Largemouth Bass Fishing Belle Glade report. Today, I had the pleasure to fish with the Hyatt family out of Jupiter, Florida. It was a true honor to have three generations in one boat. I had the Grandfather, Father Dave & Son Brandon.

The Grandfather came all the way from Texas. He loves fly fishing the streams in Colorado as well. We got him down here, fishing with some 50 pound braid, which is a much different than what he is used to.

We caught them today. We went through five dozen shiners in less than 4 hours. The biggest fish being a almost 8 pounds, it was like 7:11. We still caught several fish in the 5 pound range, just quality fish all day.

Sadly, looks like another big storm coming in pretty soon on the next Moon phase, but the fishing is still good right now. Signing out until tomorrow. Talk to you later!
